Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association: Pioneer in innovation to create value

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association's Congress, term VII, has just consulted and decided to re-appoint Mr. Dang Hong Anh as President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association this term for the period of 2022 - 2025.

The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has decided to award the Third-class Labor Order to the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

On the morning of March 31, the main session of the 7th Congress of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term 2022-2025 was held at the National Convention Center (Hanoi).

Secretaries of the Party Central Committee were present at the Congress, including Deputy Prime Minister - Mr. Le Minh Khai, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation – Mrs. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, and President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) - Mr.Do Van Chien. Member of the Party Central Committee cum First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Central Committee Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, and representatives of a number of ministries, departments, and central authorities also attended the Congress, as did representatives of provincial and city leaders, leaders of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association from various periods and 800 young entrepreneurs from across the country.

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has covered 63 provinces and cities with over 11,000 members

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has created networks in 63 provinces and cities with over 11,000 members after 29 years of establishment and development. The Association's members have created jobs for about 3 million employees and earned total annual revenue of more than USD 30 billion.

The government will continue to support and provide favorable conditions for young entrepreneurs to devote their abilities to the country.

In his speech at the Congress, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation cum President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, reviewed the 3-year journey of executing the Resolution of the 5th Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Congress. The Association has made significant movements in quality under the slogan "Vietnamese young entrepreneurs - Pioneering innovation - Creating value."

Accordingly, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has successfully completed the role of Chairman of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council 2020 for the 2018-2021 term, becoming an official member of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Asia Pacific. The Association's organization is more local-oriented, promoting the Association's member clubs and 10 Young Entrepreneurs Clusters with various practical activities, connecting young entrepreneurs around the country.

Social security efforts, such as contributing to preventing and controlling the COVID-19 outbreak through a number of initiatives at all levels, have gained a positive impression, showing the community responsibility of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs. Honoring events for entrepreneurs continue to be implemented on a monthly basis, with various innovations, affirming the prestige of the Vietnamese young entrepreneur brand.

All target to build, enforce and develop a strong association.

Delegates to the Congress listened to debates and gave ideas to the Draft Report for the 2018-2021 term, as well as the Association's draft operational direction for the 2022-2025 period, which focused on the following matters: Morality-Vision-Position of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the country's new economic development era; portrait of a young businessman in 2030; solutions to spread the movement of young entrepreneurs from the central to the local - new practices and reforms; unite and gather young Vietnamese entrepreneurs abroad; the pioneering role of young female entrepreneurs in economic development and integration; mission to develop and support start-up projects.

The Congress established the objectives of the Association's missions and the young entrepreneur movement for the period 2022-2025, with key activities including building, consolidating, and developing a strong organization of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; building and enhancing the capability for member enterprises in the digital era; strengthening trade and investment promotion activities; and promoting the role of the young entrepreneur's ecosystem in national policymaking.

Furthermore, the Association will continue to unite, gather networks, and promote the businesses among young Vietnamese entrepreneurs within the region and the world; support young people and young entrepreneurs in starting and growing innovative businesses; build corporate brands and honor outstanding young entrepreneurs; organize social security activities that connect young entrepreneurs' responsibilities to the community.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh was re-elected as President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh is the Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VII.

The Congress conducted a consultation to elect 153 members for the Central Committee, of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VII the period from 2022 to 2025; consulted and elected to appoint the Presidium of the 7th Central Committee of the Association, consisting of 55 people. Among that, the Standing Committee of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VII, includes the President and 16 Vice-Presidents.

Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation cum President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association term VI, Mr. Dang Hong Anh was trusted, consulted, and elected to be the Chairman of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VII.

Congress approved the report and established the objectives of the Association's missions and the young entrepreneur movement for the period 2022-2025, with key activities including building, consolidating, and developing a strong organization of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; building and enhancing the capability for member enterprises in the digital era; strengthening trade and investment promotion activities; and promoting the role of the young entrepreneur's ecosystem in national policymaking; Unite, gather networks, and promote the businesses among young Vietnamese entrepreneurs within the region and the world; support young people and young entrepreneurs in starting and growing innovative businesses; build corporate brands and honor outstanding young entrepreneurs; organize social security activities that connect young entrepreneurs' responsibilities to the community.

The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam issued a Decision to award the Third-class Labor Order to the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association in recognition of the positive contributions and dedication of individuals to the organization and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Movement during the previous term. At the congress, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Secretary of CPV Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation – Mrs. Bui Thi Minh Hoai awarded the Third-class Labor Order to the Association.

Furthermore, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam made a Decision to grant Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, a Third-class Labor Order.
