TTC Group nominated Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc to join TTC Sugar’ Board of Directors
After Mr. Le Ngoc Thong – a member of the Board of Directors (BOD) resigned, Thanh Thanh Cong Investment JSC, major shareholder of SBT sent a letter to nominate Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc – Permanent Vice President of TTC Group cum General Director TTC and Mr. Hoang Manh Tien to join SBT's BOD.
Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc has been in the positon of Permanent Vice President of TTC Group since 2012. Born in 1962, Ms. Ngoc is the co-founder and operator of Thanh Thanh Cong company (the former of TTC Group now) established in 1979, specializing in the production and trading of alcohol, CO2 and molasses used in the production of monosodium glutamate, alcohol, food grade yeast, animal feed processing, etc.
During her management, seeing the remaining huge demand of the sugar industry, the opportunities and the potential is pretty much, she continuously made many strategic decisions in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in order to make Thanh Thanh Cong Join Stock Company - Bien Hoa (TTC Sugar, HoSE code: SBT) penetrate for more than 40% of the domestic market share, becoming the leading enterprise in Vietnam sugar market today. Ms. Ngoc currently holds over 5.5 million shares of SBT.
Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc is nominated to be member of TTC Sugar’s BOD
Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc has accompanied with TTC Sugar in making sharp and intuitive evaluation to seize opportunities and propose business strategies in order to develop the company not only in domestic market but also in the international market. Ms. Ngoc determined: “The important solution to develop the sugar industry is to be proactive in raw material areas, from here, we will create effective connection to deploy model fields in large scale. At that time, the application of scientific and technical advances such as mechanization will be much easier, contributing to increasing the productivity of sugarcane production”. The two recent billion-dollar ventures of TTC Sugar on expanding factories and material areas through Laos and Cambodia are also the result of Ms. Ngoc's consultation with TTC.
With nearly 40 years of experience in the sugar industry, Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc has always followed and made positive and important contributions to the company’s goal "For the community and local development", with the product lines target directly to the community, eco-friendly and clean quality, sustainable development of TTC Sugar. Nominating Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc to become a member of the TTC Sugar’s BOD, TTC hopes that Ms Ngoc will continue to consult on making strategic decisions, ensuring the harmony of shareholders' interests as well as protecting the reputation of the company and enhance customers' trust.

This time, TTC Investment also nominated Mr. Hoang Manh Tien as an Independent Member of TTC Sugar’ BOD. Mr. Hoang Manh Tien was born in 1962 and got Bachelor Degree of Laws. He has over 20 years of experience in internal audit from banking to business, manufacturing and service sectors.
Mr. Hoang Manh Tien has been always excellent at his role in checking and supervising the activities of both the BOD and the General Meeting of Shareholders, ensuring the company's activities are transparent for the benefit of shareholders and company on the basis of compliance the Law on Enterprise and current regulations as well as requirements of the management system.
Nominating Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc to the BOD and Mr. Hoang Manh Tien to the position as Independent Member of the Board, TTC Sugar expected to expand both domestic and international markets, improve efficiency in management and transparency in finance for the coming period.
