The Department of Construction of Dong Nai Province has officially issued a construction permit for the developer of the Kim Quy Island project to build a commercial service center (supermarket) within the project site.
This is one of the key amenities that will contribute to completing the master plan of a modern island city along the Dong Nai River – envisioned as an integrated living space, close to nature and offering diverse functions.
The “both separated and connected” location allows Kim Quy Island to develop into an eco-residential area that is secluded yet fully linked to existing urban amenities
According to the permit, the supermarket will be built on a 6,114.4 m² plot, consisting of one basement, four above-ground floors, and a rooftop technical floor, with a total usable floor area of more than 15,000 m². Classified as a grade-II civil building, it has undergone official appraisal for architecture, structure, MEP systems, and water supply/drainage to ensure technical compliance and safety. The building is positioned in a convenient location, adjacent to a 12-meter-wide internal road, allowing for smooth future connections and operations.
Infrastructure continues to advance, amenities gradually taking shape
Just days earlier, on June 13, 2025, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province approved the allocation of nearly 13,000 m² of additional land to the Kim Quy Island project for transportation infrastructure development in line with the master plan. This is an important step toward synchronizing technical infrastructure and internal traffic systems, ensuring effective connections between functional subdivisions within the project and convenient links to surrounding areas.
The start of supermarket construction at this stage reflects concrete progress in delivering project amenities, laying the groundwork for a comfortable living environment where future residents can easily access shopping and essential consumer services within their own urban space.
Beyond commerce, education has also seen notable preparations. During the Kim Quy Island brand announcement ceremony on May 31, 2025, the project developer signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TTC Education to cooperate in developing Yersin Primary School within the project. This signals a serious, methodical investment in quality of life and long-term community development.
Riverside location, regional connectivity, and urbanization potential
Developed by Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company – TTC Land (stock code: SCR), Kim Quy Island is located on Tan Van Islet, one of the few remaining land parcels that retains a riverine landscape in the heart of the city. The project enjoys a prime position adjacent to Bien Hoa City center and just about 30 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City via the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway or the upcoming Ring Road 3. Its “both separated and connected” setting enables the area to evolve into an eco-residential zone that is secluded yet fully integrated with existing urban amenities.
Kim Quy Island is steadily completing the “island city” vision with lush green spaces
The project is planned as an integrated “island city,” with multiple functional zones such as residential areas, commercial facilities, schools, riverside parks, and tourism–service components. With a nature-friendly living environment, gradually completed infrastructure, and increasingly visible amenities, Kim Quy Island is not only a compelling option for young families seeking a modern home, but also for multi-generational households looking for a connected, comfortable, and quiet living space with all necessary amenities within close reach.
Thanks to its riverside location, convenient connectivity, and long-term development orientation, the project is also attractive to professionals working in Ho Chi Minh City and Bien Hoa seeking a second home, as well as investors interested in properties with clear legal status, stable planning, and high usability potential.
Entrance to Kim Quy Island – a rare-positioned project in the area, fully embraced by the Dong Nai River
Each property at Kim Quy Island can flexibly serve multiple purposes: permanent residence, weekend retreat, rental, commercial use, or asset accumulation. This versatility and multi-experience offering will help the project appeal to a wide range of customer segments in the coming period.
Every step forward in infrastructure, amenities, or legal procedures at Kim Quy Island reflects a carefully managed, phased implementation process – one that is steadily advancing in line with the master plan and ready to meet both real housing demand and long-term investment needs as the market gradually recovers.
