The first hotel in Ho Chi Minh City offers a free accommodation for anti-epidemic doctors
A 3-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City has offer free accommodation for doctors of the Ho Chi Minh city Hospital for Tropical Diseases, who is working on the front line against COVID-19.

On the afternoon of March 31st, Mr. Dang Hong Anh – the Chairman of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vice Chairman of TTC Group - confirmed that this company has reserved a 52-room hotel for the 86 members of medical team to stay starting from April 1st.
Because the doctors work in shifts, the hotel will rotate the rooms for the doctors to stay in order to secure that there is one person per room.
During this time, 21 hotel staff including room division, food division, etc., will serve the doctors with meals and other services.
The total expenses of the sponsorship package is VND 2.55 billion per month, of which Orient Commercial Bank (OCB) has also contributed to the cost of accommodation, meals and other services for medical staff and doctors at TTC hotel.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Health reviewed, checked the facilities, safety of the hotel and agreed to use one of TTC Hospitality's hotels as a rest stop for doctors and nurses of the Ho Chi Minh city Hospital for Tropical Diseases after working shifts.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh Mai, chief of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health horned the company's prompt and timely contribution to the fight against the epidemic of the city.
The provision of a hotel for free accommodation to doctors also ensures the safety of the family and relatives of the medical team as well as contributes to minimizing the risks of cross contamination after the medical treatment of patients infected with COVID-19.
In conversation with Tuoi Tre Online, Mr. Dang Hong Anh said that this is a pioneer step to provide more resources to Ho Chi Minh city to fight against the epidemic and partly to support doctors, nurses working in the front line.

Mr. Hong Anh hopes that after this "kick", other hotels in Ho Chi Minh City as well as in other provinces and cities will also contribute to the local authorities support of free accommodation for medical forces to take rest as well as their family to reassure.
